Education to Empowerment

In India, education is the fundamental right of every child as guaranteed by the Constitution. The Right to Education Act provides free and compulsory education to children between the age group 6 to 14.

The performance of students in rural India is severely impacted by the absence of resources and lack of quality education.

At Rukmani Trust, our mission is to provide quality education in rural India using the power of technology.

To create an empowered India, the Trust will leapfrog in bridging the rural-urban digital divide in education, using the Power of Technology.

The Trust is supporting a range of organizations to fulfill this endeavour.

digital daan

India’s rapid shift to online teaching in response to the pandemic ignores our immense digital divide — with embedded gender and class divides.

In an effort to address the digital divide and promote inclusion, Rukmani Trust has teamed up with Budli and Cashify and started a movement to encourage people to donate functional devices.

LeaP-Quest- taking the leap of faith in online learning

A LeaP-Quest is a blended lesson format designed by combining the approaches of constructive learning and inquiry based learning.

As opposed to passive learning, it enables students to use technology to conduct in-depth research on any topic and then go on to create and present the learning artifacts based on the challenges given to them.
